Strong Finish For Rage 12U

The Colorado Rage finished their season in Longmont this weekend finishing the tournament with a 4-1 record bringing them to 26-16-1 for the 2019 season. The Rage got out to a great start by beating the Erie Tigers 16-1 in Game 1 and the Pueblo Sharks 9-0 in Game 2. On day 2 the Rage stayed hot by beating NoCo Rush Silver 20-3 and finished up pool play by beating the Avengers from Bloomfield, NM 11-0. The Rage advanced as the Number 1 overall seed in the tournament but ran into a hot offense and solid pitching from NoCo Rush Blue as the Rage’s season ended with a 17-3 loss early Sunday morning. The Colorado Rage 12U team played 9 in state tournaments this year (CABA State was cancelled) and Cooperstown All-Star Village. The Rage advanced into 4 championship games while winning 3 of those championships this season. The Colorado Rage 12U team looks to build on their success as the move onto the 13U division next season.
